Human Rights day 2016 theme
Stand up for someone's rights today!
This yr, Human Rights Day calls on everybody to stand up for a someone's rights! Disrespect for primary human rights remains extensive-spread in all elements of the globe. Extremist actions subject humans to horrific violence. Messages of intolerance and hatred prey on our fears. Humane values are below assault.
We have to reaffirm our common humanity. wherever we are, we can make a actual distinction. In the road, in college, at work place, in public place, in the voting booth, on social media.
The time for that is now. “We the Humans” can take a stand for rights. And together, we are able to take a stand for greater humanity.
It starts with everyone of us. leap forward and defend the rights of a refugee or migrant, someone with disabilities, an LGBT people, a girl, a baby, indigenous peoples, a minority group, or anybody else at risk to discrimination or violence. (click here for more info)
